New Diesel Car

Featured Replies

Hello

i'm looking to but a New Ford Focus Estate 115 1.6 TDCI, does this come with the DPF?, if so I was wondering if anyone has had any DPF problems with this model?.

I work in Rochdale but live in Bury (17.2 round trip) so normally i drive on the 40 roads but I would can take it on the motorway for 20/30 mins for a blast once a week.

Every other weekend I travel to Runcorn fishing (90 mile round trip) so I don't think I would have a problems.

Any advise on this would be great!

cheers

Yes it will have a DPF. Do you really need a Diesel though? That mileage doesn't seem high so an Ecoboost might seem like a better option.

I had a drive test drive in a ecoboost, great little engine, but felt the diesel drove better

Oh that's fair enough, some prefer the low down torque of a Diesel.

By the sounds of it you shouldn't have any problems with the DPF.
