How Do I Clean Out My Intercooler?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, I`ve just replaced my turbo on my 2003 Galaxy TDI. I lost most of my oil and assume its in my intercooler as it is still smoking like crazy. Is there a way of removing the oil without the need for removing it? Thanks in advance for any contributions.

With a lot of luck comes to mind!

I saw this recently on the forum, may have even been you asking the question and someone came back with something, but as its the turbo cooler, I really dont know how well its going to work...

Didn`t bother taking it off in the end, just ragged it up the motorway instead for 20 miles. All smoke has gone and It`s now running better than it ever has!!

Italian tuning tends to work well lol
