S-max Drl's

Featured Replies

Hi folks, I want to fit a set of drl's to a 2014 s-max, none on it originally. What I need to know is :

Would the car have suitable wiring ready to fit or is it a replacement loom for drl's, fogs and parking sensors.

Has anyone done this job and if so what do I need to get.

All help appreciated !

The DRLs are VERY expensive new - and are rare finds at the breakers.

The DRLs require a different subloom that connects up to the main connector located below the OS headlight.

Even if you did have the correct subloom in your car, you'd still need an IDS session or in the least, a config change via ELMConfig - but it still doesn't guarantee it'd work.

Unless you go aftermarket.

Have a neb around in the Focus section for hints on wiring in a new set. You should be able to modify an OEM set to work on new wiring.
