2015 Fiesta Key Fobs Failed To Work.

Featured Replies

The key fobs for my 2015 fiesta both failed to work.

I locked the car with the key fob and returned an hour later and neither key fob would open the car.

I used the key to open the car and drove round.

I was then able to lock the car with the key fob.

Does anyone know why this has happened.?

Similar issues have been reported on the MG rover owners forum, where a Fob won't work at home, move the car and it works again.

With all the technology we have around these days if something is clashing with the frequency the fob works on it could explain why they would not work.

Is there anything around that is unusual that might be the cause of this near where you park? Do the fobs now work again where you had the issue or does the problem persist?

It appears to be a one off.

The car was parked in the middle of an open air car park we normally visit.

I just thought I would ask to get a head of an impending problem?

But so far so good.
