Coolant Change - Bleeding System Mk7

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Currently doing a coolant flush and change. Just wondering if anybody knows either where or there is a bleed nipple on the radiator to get the air out the system.

If not, whats the procedure?

Cheers

Leave the expansion tank cap off and run the engine up to temp. Once the thermostat opens the radiator will bleed.

Theres a thin pipe that clips to the top rear of the radiator..pinch the 2 clips together and gently ease it out, pour water in until it starts to come out of the hole whete the pipe sits, sometimes it can be a pain in the ***** to get all of the air out..but stick with it...and DONT overfill the header tank...
