Been following this forum few times, and decided to finally join.

My car is -98 Escort with 1.6 Zetec-engine, currently waiting for cylinder head machining. It's been a pain in a** for a last month, spent a fortune for new fuse box, timing belt, starter motor and now the leaking head gasket :angry: Been a "proud" owner for 7 years. Plan is to get it back on the road and start looking for new ride, maybe another Ford.

    Big thank to all!

    My car is running fine now. Head gasket fixed, battery leak fixed, winter tires that were stuck fixed.

    Its too dark to take any pics, but some little details about my car now:

    -98 Sedan 1.6 Zetec, now has 320 000 km (a lot) and colour is dark purple.

    Kenwood KDC-6051 with 30Gb iPod

    Rainbow SAX 265.20 in front

    Rainbow Kraftwerk 2270 amp

    Rainbow Hammer 10" sub

    Unknown amount of Dynamat at front doors.

    Cobra remote locking system

    Advanti wheels for summer, rusty wheels for winter.

    One frustrated driver who just cant think about separating himself from this car :D

    Been more into the car audio lately, leaving the engine-things to those who know more about them.
