Hello all!

So, I have had my fiesta for 2 years now, and the past few days I have had a number of problems.

Firstly, driving along the road my car started going mad beeping saying "immobiliser misfunction' and then going into limp mode. I turned the car off, and started it again and it was fine. It did this again when I started it the next day. Then, the boot started opening on its own. And finally, driving along it starts beeping saying "key not detected" even though it was in the front.

I have changed batteries in both keys and this had made no difference. I have also out some WD40 on the boot clip as there may have been some damp on the clip causing it to open.

Can anyone advise me on what I can do next? Other than this, it's been an awesome car....just now it is becoming frustrating - help???

    so its a keyless system it would seem (can never assume these things!)

    Where do you put the key when you are not using it? do you keep your phone near the key?
