Had Laser Tracking Done But Now My Car Pulls To Left When Loosen Grip On Steering Wheel, Why ?

Featured Replies

A friend of mine is a mechanic, this week he replaced both suspension arms, track rod ends, shock absorbers, steering rack arms, brake discs, brake pads, and some other parts, can't remember what now.

Anyway steering wheel was wonky so went to garage today to have laser tracking done.
As soon as I got my car back I let my grip on the steering wheel loose to check but I felt the car pull to the left, I took it on a straight motorway road and again anytime I loosened my grip on the steering wheel I feel the car pull to the left.
( not sure if it was doing this before tracking or not )
I'd say the car steering wheel is 99.8 % straight as I have a strong grip on the wheel and it doesn't seem to drift when I hold the steering wheel tight but when I loosen the grip the car drifts left.

any ideas ?

Lol, can somebody please help me with my question ?!

take a short drive down the road, avoid using the brakes.

Then when you do stop the car, feel the disks - are any of them hotter than the other side?

If thats not the case and the car is physically balanced (i.e. not dropping in one side) - it could be the tyre, is the pressure correct in all wheels?

Take it back and get the tracking checked again with the steering wheel clamped centrally.
