Cookey09
Hi all. So, I'm browsing the Internet for fiesta accessories... Come across this duxback window protection treatment... Anyone had this done? Is it worth doing? Cookey.
GMX
Laurie was asking about it on the detailing sub-forum yesterday. Kieran pointed out there are better products. http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/77456-duxback-views-and-reviews/

laumk7
£34.95?! You can buy a applicator for around £10! Having said that though, it's not worth it, I bought some rainx last night to go over the duxback with, it just can't forfil it's claims I gave it 6/10 that's since dropped significantly:)

[emoji14] The site is www.yorkshiredetailing.co.uk I'd recommend Kleen freaks glass cleaner and sealant, although there are dedicated sealants on there such as Inspired Automotive Clearview. The sealant is similar to RainX in that it creates a hydrophobic layer on top of the glass. This reduces the need for use of wipers (saving your wipers/marks on the windscreen). It also makes the Windows easier to clean when the time comes. To apply you wash the car, spray on the glass cleaner and buff off. And it's done. simple as that! If you add a few drops to your screenwash the 'barrier' will be maintained every time you use your washers Assuming your wipers aren't on their last legs, then this product will not cause smearing or wiper judder, unlike many similar products.
