Quick query on behalf of my uncle guys. He is weighing up the purchase of either a Focus or a Golf which must be an auto. He asked me what kind of auto box they are because of the criticism of the semi-auto efforts in town driving. Basically he wants to stick with the old school torque converter auto

I have not got a clue on this so I thought I would ask you guys. So what kind of auto is in the Focus and the none-DSG Golf?
