Freestyle 2002 Connecting Mp3 Player

Featured Replies

Hello

I have been given a mp3 player for xmas to use in my car. The only problem is I have a standard fit radio in my freestyle and I can't see anywhere to plug in the mp3. I'm wondering if someone can tell me what options I have please x

Could you post a picture of your radio?

It may be possible to retrofit an aux port for less than £20 dependant on which radio you have

Hello do you have an email address or anything for some reason I can't attach a picture

Unfortunately there's no way of adding an aux port to your radio. You'll have to go Aftermarket or buy one of these eBay 291527665862

If you decide to go Aftermarket then we'll be able to advise you

Ok fab I've just ordered one off ebay. So I'm assuming I just put the tape thing in my tape deck and then plug in to my mp3 player?

Simple as that! The sound quality won't be great & you may get some interference.. but for £4 you can't complain..

No that's fine I'm not really that bothered about sound quality. As long as it's audible and I can hear it that is great. Just saves me having to buy a brand new cd kit etc

If you decided to you could pick up a single DIN radio for around £60

Halfords has JVC for £45 which would suit your needs perfectly if you're not bothered about quality etc
