Titanium Badge On A Zetec Model?

Featured Replies

Hi I'm looking to buy a Ford Fiesta around 2012 and have seen a couple of 1.6tdi econetic Zetecs, but with titanium badges on back.

Is this normal or should I beware?

Thanks.

Greg.

Are you saying it has Zetec AND Titanium badges?

It should have one or the other, if it has Titanium then that's what it is. Titanium and Zetec are the trim levels so it can't be both!

As you can see the car has no cruise control and when you put reg in online it says the vehicle is in fact a Zetec, but has the titanium badge. Have also seen another like this elsewhere in country.

It's a Titanium, according to Ford Etis it has the Titanium upgrade SVP. The webpage listing for the car states Zetec and is wrong.

Titanium has digital climate control and cruise control.

That car has neither.

The car is a Titanium upgrade SVP look up Ford Etis

what does this actually mean?

Titanium badge but not Titanium spec?

More important than the spec is the engine - is this the dreaded DV6 TED4 engine ?

Titanium badge but not Titanium spec?

SVP - special vehicle preparation.

It doesn't seem to have the Titanium goodies- no climate control, no auto lights/wipers sensor on the windscreen, no cruise control, no front centre armrest, no Sony stereo or Bluetooth.

It does have tinted windows and a Titanium sticker though. Maybe a miss-build?

Could it be it's previous owner just put a titanium badge on?

More likely althought it says it isnt, an import.

etis says

  • Titanium Upgrade SVP

very odd

Jamie

must be last owner

Doesn't make sense.

It says Titanium Upgrade on Etis, but has lots missing for it to be a Titanium, the alloys are far too small for Titanium, but etis says it was built with 14", so they are the originals.

Perhaps it was a channel islands car or grey import or something?
