Lookie what I found today whilst looking through old documents, my first proper car! I loved this car even down to its fake leather look seat covers which meant sliding as you drove around corners :wub:

Sadly the head gasket blew and the engine flooded :( had this car years and it's the car that really tuned me into fords

    I had a 'G' reg one, only thing I ever had to buy for it in 112,000 miles (apart from brakes and exhaust parts) was a new stearing knuckle! Only thing that stopped it running was the tree my son wrapped it around!

    Since that car I've always had a soft spot for mk3s , it started (until the end) on the button each and every time, had more than its fair share of creature comforts being a ghia as jmurray pointed out . Christ I miss that car! I've even for sentimental reasons kept it's old numberplate in the garage :wub:
