retro fitting ford rear parking sensors to 06 estate

Hi I have just change the rear lower bumper o my 06 focus estate with parking sensors with the ecu that was in the o/s/r boot I took them off our 07 estate all the wiring was there just fitted ecu and took blanking plug out of plug and sensors just plugged in butt they don't work do they need programing?

if its a factory unit you have installed, you need to enable the parking control module on the GEM board.
