Poor 3.5mm jack connection

Featured Replies

I have a Fiesta 1.0 Ecobbost 2013.

It has a 3.5m jack inbetween the cigarette lighter and USB port by the handbrake.

I bought the car last year and when I connected an mp3 player via a 3.5mm jack I noticed the sound came and went a little.

It is now a lot worse so I was wondering if there was a whole replacement I could buy (as it looks like you can pop the plastic cover off - but I am loathe to do so at the moment)

My mp3 player is not bluetoothed so the 3.5mm jack is the only way to connect it.

Anyone able to help at all?

Thanks

I had a similar issue mine was on and off but it also felt loose, I went back to Ford and explained they even tested it and replaced it with a brand new Aux socket. I hope they will do the same for you :)
