Water in reversing light

Hi

I have a focus zetec 100  2010. The trouble l have is that l have got water in my reversing light.

I have checked in the boot area and have a small leak coming on the n/s near back lights.

Checked the spare wheel area bone dry.

Has anyone else had this problem and how did they resolve this

    drain it out then seal with silicon seal  around the bulb holder
