2008 ford s max release bearing still making noise after been replaced with new one?

My 2008 ford s max 1.8cdti fly wheel was rattling and so was the release bearing when the clutch was pressed.I bought a new solid flywheel conversion kit,which was a straight swap.

I got the car back and there is is a whining noise coming from the right hand side and the release  bearing is worse than ever even thought a new 1 was fitted along with the kit.

do you think the kit was not fitted properly?

could the whining becoming from the gearbox?almost sounds like a wheel bearing,but coming from the clutch/box.

Thanks for any advice.
