Hello all, first time on here so a brief intro.Im Alan, I've owned fords all my life,in order XR2, Sierra XR4x4, XR3i, another Sierra XR4x4, Sierra Saphire 2.0 GLS, Mondeo 2.5 v6 Ghia, Fiesta 1.8 TDi, and finally Focus 2.0 Ghia Estate, best one I've owned, Focus, but I did love the 4x4. I'm 54 with wife and grown up kids. They take the mick out of the old Focus but she's seen some of their foreign crap out and other than a few niggles she's a gem. I'm loyal to Ford, they simply build a good value well built time tested car and let's face it, more often than not they say you can fix owt on a Ford for £50. Not a bad rule of thumb. Yeah my lads are boy racers but I shame em when I tell them about a Sapphire Cosworth that today will embarrass most hot hatches whilst carrying a family...a car from the 80's. Suck it up lads. Anyway, I've ordered a new Fiesta this time as there's only the missis and me nowadays and I'm a little long in the tooth so it's easier costings, better milage and less hassle. But I intend to keep the focus roadworthy as long as I can for myself, just love it. Cheers.

    I've followed my dad in having Ford's, the 1969 fastback mustang and the Mk3 Escort Turbo RS where the best among all of them, he's quite jealous of my Fiesta ST as now he just has a 2.0 Focus Estate...

    I'm sure you'll find your new fiesta quite nippy!
