Key fob won't lock car any more

Hi, 

hoping someone has a quick fix :) 

cannot lock my car using the key fob. 

I recently changed the speakers in the front two doors so had to remove the pannels. When I put them back on the key fob no longer worked. I have changed the battery on the key fob and disconnected the cars battery all without any joy. 

Does anyone know why it isn't working or any possible remedy's? 

Model: ford S Max 2007 titanium 2.5
