Returning my car to standard

Do I or don't I? I'm still pondering, but if I did how easily is it done?

Wheels obviously repaint to sparkle silver, ST diffuser and valance remove replace with ordinary valance / bumper. What of the body kit? The insurer counts it as an add on even though the factory put it on, so well anyway - how easy to remove? Is it just tug hard enough and bob's my uncle? I heard when part of it started coming loose it's just stuck on anyway. I'm rather fond of my illuminated gear knob so that'll stay . I think that's it...

Doing all this revision will save me on average between 15 - 35 per month with the insurer's

Unless money is really tight or you're planning on selling it, I'm not sure why you would want to return to standard.

Respraying wheels might cost you more than you'll actually save on the insurance, unless you're going to do it yourself:unsure:

Agreed . . . .  why contemplate this course of action ?

Properly restoring just the wheels could easily cost £300 + if done professionally.

Are you planning on part exchanging or selling the car to a dealership?  If not, I'm unsure why you would want to spend money returning the car to standard, unless you regret making the modifications?
