Can anyone help me?

I have a 2014 Fiesta and my HTC1 M7 works on all the Bluetooth connectivity except for the messages. It tells me that it will not work with this phone!

Is there any way that this can be sorted but if not will an M8 work with the messages?

Hopefully someone can give me some info!
