Hello. I have a Mk3 1990 Escort 1.4 i bought her from a friend in 1999 and never looked back except when reversing! She's v clean, well pampered and done 125k miles (shows 25k). Very reliable. My knees are not what they were and l fear some day we may come to a parting of the ways but l would want her to be as cherished as much as possible as she really deserves it.

Thanks. It's good to know there are others out there. We've always been a Ford family. I still remember the Thames van. We then had a Cortina Mk1, Cortina M4, then a Transit autosleeper (much narrower than the current transits). They all survived many an Alpine mountain pass and loads of kids (& dogs in the UK only) thrown into the back as we went off on our camping adventures. My dad spent most of his time under the car at weekends. I used to have to get his Swiss army knife and remove the stones from the tyres he was swapping round. The wheels were at eye level. Dad believed in learning while young!

Hello and Welcome Anna:smile:
