Laser cutters, 3d printers

Hey guys, pretty vast selection of different walks of life here. I'm wondering if any of you have got anything like the above; laser cutter, 3d printer etc...

I'm looking for something that I can send intricate designs to, from a computer so that they're cut out - or 3d printed...... haven't really considered what material I'd use or anything like that, it's more going to be based on budget, so for instance if cutting out in metal requires a 10x more expensive machine, then I'll stick with something else..

Anyone have something they'd recommend? Ideas?
