Drivers side sidelight detached!!

Featured Replies

So, I noticed my headlight and sidelight had stopped working and set about fixing it. Checked the fuse first, that was fine.
Knowing this I then set off to get new bulbs.
Changed the headlight bulb and all was fine.
Changed the sidelight bulb ... nothing.
As I removed it again I noticed the cable was slack.
I gently tugged, felt no resistance and then I found the end.
A clean break.
(Pic attached).

How can I go about fixing this?
Is it easy(ish)?
I don't want to have to pay a fortune to a mechanic but will if I have to.
I love my car and would much rather do it myself, but am realistic. If it is beyond my skill-set then I'll pay for someone to do it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
