Transit custom 2016 cargo door locks

Featured Replies

Hi

Just got a brand new custom 2.2l has anyone got any idea how to fit a switch to enable me to keep the rear doors double locked. I'm trying to make the rear more secure considering how easy it is to get into these vans. I basically wanna double lock the van flip a hidden switch that's keeps the cargo doors that way! then exit the van and lock the front. I'm trying to keep my tools safer when on the overnights

isnt there a button on the dash or drivers door to lock doors from inside?

Sorry yes there is but what I want to do is deadlock the van then turn off the locking to the rear doors stopping thieving scum from picking the drivers door lock and then unlocking the rear doors. I basically wanna disable the unlocking of the cargo doors after I've dead locked them so until I flick a switch they can't be unlocked at all
