Engine vibration

Featured Replies

Hi, my top engine mount snapped and the engine dropped a bit.

i have replaced the mount but now get a vibration which is worse when stopped on a hill it don't make any difference either up or down its the same.

loosened both mounts and re-aligned the engine, straightened a bent bracket and re-torqued everything, but still vibrating.

the vibration ain't bad just !Removed! anoying, have any of you knowledgable guys got any ideas what it can be or what to try next!

thanks

if one mount went, then the other mount would have taken extra pressure, I would suggest replacing the other mount/s also.

That said, if you have still got vibration, something else is not aligned or supported properly. Is the vibration directly linked to engine speed?
