Focus CC roof problem

HELP!!!!!    I have a 57 plate CC03 and the roof has decided to stop operating properly.

I stuffed in to the dealer and they diagnosed a duff microswith (which one I don't know as for them to tell me would have meant I could fix it) the replaement part is £400 as the switch comes as part of the roof mechanism.

Does anyone know of an independent specialist in Sussex, Surrey or Kent who might be able to do a fix? Or any adice other than dump the car?
