Mk7.5 Alarm going off - FCDIM DTC?

My dads Fiesta alarm was going off earlier for no apparent reasons. I hooked up my laptop and ran forscan hoping for a code to log what triggered it, but the only DTC was from the FCDIM:

B10BD:13-08

It's detected an open circuit on a multi function switch.

Could that have triggered the alarm?

I can't find any more info on the DTC online. I'm going to drop a print out of the error log in to my dealer in the morning, but wondered if anyone might have any insight?

I hope we won't be spending the night constantly shutting it up...
