Nilfisk Domestic Pressure Washer Model Codes??

Featured Replies

I'm planning to get a new pressure washer, that is capable of removing the lichen off my patio, drive and house with the added ability to snow foam the Foci from time to time

From around the web, from mates and from here, I've understood that Nilfisk and Karcher HD/HDS are the brands to go for and Kranzle if you detail a lot. The Karcher K-series (plastic pumps) is best avoided along with all the big box brands, where there is no hope of ever getting parts in future.

However, I  am having some difficulty working out the model codes on the domestic line of Nilfisk.  I can't really justify the cost of the lower end of the commercial washers, even the P150 is bit pricey with some retailers, although I have found one at £356 but it's still a lot more than the E line

On their website there's are clear explanation of what Nilfisk's commercial pressure washer model numbers mean,

For example the model MC 3C-150/660 XT.

MC = Mobile cold water washer, 3 = Class of pump or work profile, C = compact with a motor of 2800rpm, 150 = max bar pressure, 660 = Water flow in L/hour Qmax and XT = hose reel and additional lance or equipped with a 4-in-1 lance.

However, on their domestic pressure washers, there isn't an explanation to be found.  With a some googling I can work out some, but they don't really bear much resemblance to their commercial counterparts.

The basic models I've been looking at are the E140, the E145 and P150.

The actual models have a model structure, for example E140.3-9 PADX, or E145.3-10 H P XTRA and P150.2-10BX

From what I've gathered is:

E = excellent line and P = Professional line

140, 145 and 150 = max bar pressure.

2 or 3 = ??? can't find anything that states what this represents

9 & 10 = the length of hose

PADX = patio cleaner + , rotary brush and drain cleaner

H = Superflex armoured steel reinforced rubber hose

P = patio cleaner +

XTRA = home and car bundle

BX = ?? can't find anything about this code either

Anyone happen know what my missing codes represent, or better still have a breakdown of the Nilfisk's domestic pressure washer naming strategy
