I notice that the latest models of S max (2016 on) do have a spare space saver wheel supplied with associated jack and wheelbrace kit. Does anybody know for sure whether this wheel can be used on the earlier versions of S max in terms of size, offset and PCD and also whether the jack can be used. Is the chassis at the jacking points the same between the earlier S max and 2016 on versions so that the "cradle" of the jack can safely fit under the earlier S Max vehicles? I appreciate that I need to find a way to secure the space saver wheel in the back of the vehicle to prevent it flying around in the event of an accident.

I am afraid I'm not in a position to answer your question as I cannot find the jack or spare wheel. I can only find the compressor kit.

Where is your jack located? The manual is not helpful in this regard.

Do you have a 5 or 7 seater, as I fear this may be why I cannot find it (I have the 7 seater).
