Newbie - Help switching alarm off on the ferry

Featured Replies

As a newbie here apologies if this has been covered before. I looked through the posts and couldn't see an answer.

We are going on an overnight ferry soon with the S Max Titanium X Sport on a 13 plate.Last time we went I couldn't work out how to switch the motion sensors off and ended up leaving it unlocked. I have looked through the manual but cant find anything in there.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Steve

it should be in the instrument cluster, option to switch off if you have a look. settings, convenience, alarm, reduced guard or ask on exit

Thanks iantt - Suspect I go for "reduced guard" - I'll have a look.

IanTT - a belated thank you for the info on the alarm. We're just back from a two week French trip and the alarm didn't go off all night - although a few did. Only issue was a flat tyre that the foam was useless for. Meant we were without the car for a couple of days while the wheels of the French motor industry ground painfully slowly to get not one but two new extortionately priced Michelins!

Thanks again.

Steve

thats good, you found the options in the display screen then?

Yes - under settings and then just selected reduced.

thats good then, i was hoping yours was the same as other fords, couldnt remember.
