Two issues: Parking-/sidelights flashes when ignition is off; EPB-light on when ignition is off.

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

I own a 2009 Galaxy (diesel) and lately I´ve had two issues even the local Ford dealer/workshop could figure out:

1) The sidelight (right hand, offside here in Norway) flashes every 24 seconds (measured) when ignition is off. Everything else is normal (except from issue no. 2). What can be the cause of this? Even the workshop is baffled - "it must be something electrical".

2) The EPB-light comes on after some seconds after turning the ignition off. It stays on for some seconds, then goes dark, then on again and off again until I start the engine. The only time this doesn´t happen is when I manually turn the EPB off when shutting down.

I sincerely hope that some may have some answers or clues. it is a mystery to me, and I have turned to you guys since noone I have spoken to in Norway seems to be able to figure it out! :)

Thank you!
