I am a journalism student who is currently studying niche magazine and picked the specific area of Ford Magazines as I have a mark 1 Fiesta so was relevant to my interests. As part of this area I need to have some completed surveys and as this subject area is not something the average person is going to have an opinion on I thought I would come to these forums for answers. 1.Differences between models in different global markets e.g. new Fiesta, Ford's first global model, has subtle variations in different markets - why? And what are they? A complete history (perhaps over time, issue-by-issue) on different models throughout the world would really interest me.

2. Names of Ford cars, who decides on them and how? How did old model names come about? Why did some names differ between different markets for same models? (e.g. Ford Merkur was the Ford Sierra XR4i, Ford Fiesta/Ford Ikon)

3. Company management structure - who's who?

4. Ford in the future - products, direction, motorsport activities?
