Just bought 2011 cmax titanium. Is the ambient lighting meant to stay on all the time when headlights are on? It goes off a few minutes later. 

What does the auto dimming/manual dimming refer to?

    The ambient lighting is meant to come on when headlights are on and should stay on. Not sure as to why they are going off after a few mins though. I'm sure someone will have the answer for you on here.

    Regarding the Dimming manual /auto is to do with the brightness of your instrument cluster.
