I've temporarily swapped my 15" alloys for 17". Do I need to realign the steering?

Featured Replies

Hi I have swapped my 15" alloys with 17" to paint them but when I swap them back (having only been about 5 days) does my steering need to be realigned? I know if I swapped the alloys and DIDNT swap them back I defiantly would but because I am swapping back to what I initially had after only a few days, do I really need too?

All help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

No, swapping alloys shouldn't affect wheel alignment at all.  Swapping suspension or steering parts does.

Not if they're the same rolling radius with tyres.
