Lambda sensor location - Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdci

Featured Replies

Hi all.

My girlfriend has a 2008 Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdci. I've been trying to locate the position/positions of the lambda senso/sensors as the EML is coming on and I've got a feeling it may be this at fault. It's done approx. 80,000 miles and I believe they are the original sensors.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

There isn't one on the 1.4 TDCi, older diesels don't have them.

You'd be best off having the fault codes read to determine the problem.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. That sorts that out then. I'll have to get the RAC out to read the codes. The car drives normal for approx. 5 mins, then the EML comes on and won't go above 2,000 rpm.
