In my own car id change the engine size to bigger for more power,

My job is only 12 miles from home so mpg wouldn't be much of an issue

Yes, my panther black focus with a black interior means that I have to open all the doors, for a good 20 minutes before using it, to encourage any wind to blow through before going anywhere when the sun is out.  Whilst my air con seems to work better than other Foci, it's a short while for oven temp to reduce to pleasantly cool and even longer for Brandy to feel it in the cargo bay

Just be grateful you have air con!  My Quasar doesn't have it so it requires at least 10 minutes of driving at 60MPH with all four windows down before the temperature reduces to "I can breathe" standard.  I cracked all four windows a few hours before leaving work today thinking it may cool things down, but I think it only made it worse!

If I had your car id make it look like a 1.2 petrol

Ooh no, I do like the look of my car don't get me wrong. But ahh I just don't like people looking on it as a challenge to their masculinity iykwim lol.

When I get my 2.0 Ecoboost Mondeo (240PS - only 1.1s slower 0-60 compared to Fiesta ST), 99% of people probably won't know how quick it is. A sleeper, and proper long haul cruiser at the same time.

One can dream :whistling:

Bigger engine. Went from the 1.8 petrol to the 1.6 hinting there wouldn't be a big difference. Just seems really sluggish when building up speeds and you really have to drive it.. once it gets to 50+ runs like a dream just takes a while to get there

I would have a Mondeo mk4 std

i would give my car ( 1.6zetec mk2.5) a 6th gear. 5th gear seems like it is labouring

I would change the following :

1. Auto lock. I hate pushing the lock button on the door panel. Other cars can do it, why can't ford ?

2. Boot space. The MK3 focus face lift has the smallest boot from all focus versions ;).

3. I would like my 1,5 to have a better sound. Granted the BMC filter I have makes the note better, plenty of 4 cylinder out there with a nice sound.

Another for the Auto lock as a lot have on now,go above a certain speed and they lock and road noise, wish ford would put just a bit more

sound proofing into the Fiesta, not only Tyre noise but general noise from when driving like you can hear everything going round.

I'd like not to have to disklok my car every time I leave thanks to car thieving scum. Last night at work was a faff in the chucking down rain getting it out of the boot, putting it on, etc whilst getting soaked through

Can't it travel on your passenger seat or in the passenger foot well, whilst driving to and from work?  Or do you have people to pick and drop off en route?

It could, but it rattles and moves about down there, I've also tried it in the disklok bag (which it lives in in the boot), but that annoys the hell out of daughter when she's in the car and I'm not as flexible as I used to be:sad:
