S-Max gearbox slipping?

Problem number 2.. I bought my 2010 S-Max last week, and there seems to be a problem with the auto gearbox. Moving thru gears 1-3, it seems to take a few attempts to get to the gear. There's a repeated clicking noise where you would expect the gear to be selected. Not really noticeable when going faster, but definitely when you pull off steadily from a standing start.. any ideas welcome please :)
