If I were to permanently remove fuse  number 19, only replacing it for services and such, what would the repercussions be?

Obd port I believe

If that is an anti-theft measure, it will be of limited effect. When an adapter is plugged in, it should light up to say it is getting its 12v supply. If it does not, the OBD fuse is an obvious 1st suspect for any knowledgeable tea-leaf, and if they are using the OBD port to steal the car, they must already be knowledgeable!

Of course, I may be miles off, but if I am close, did you see the topic:

This covered all sorts of ideas, from the very silly (guilty!), to some quite good points.

On the Fiesta ST, I have no information, but on the Focus the OBD fuse only powers the OBD port, so will have no side effects, until you, or a garage, want to use the port!

I hadn't seen that topic I'll be honest but I'll give it a go now thank you

I've already got a disklok, but was after another easy alternative measure to back this up as well

I do like the idea of the clutch lock I'll be honest, but as I'm not as flexible as I used to be, I was wondering about these pedal to steering wheel locks,

Can they be used in conjunction with a disklok does anyone know?
