Hi guys,

is there a website or service I can use where I can put in a vehicle's regs number or VIN number and see what exactly the car was ordered with in terms of extras etc from new?

Enter you vehicle VIN or Registration in the second black tab Vehicle. or click here https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do

You will then be presented with full details of what your vehicle came with or with out

Is this a subscription service? I've seen this ETIS mentioned a few times on here but each time I look to sign up it requests €50 to join?

No it is not right. just use the registration. I have never had to pay.

use the second link I posted above in last post, then where it says registration look up, enter your cars reg.

Still requesting a pre-payment fee before a fee of €50

Your in Ireland I just noticed Tom. maybe that is why.

In the UK etis works fine with UK vehicle registrations. Perhaps Ford Ireland have a different system ?

Let me look into it Tom and see what I can find.

OK Tom lets try this:

Go to this link. Options preferences  https://www.etis.ford.com/options.do

Now on the drop down box select Ireland and then hit update.

Now go here https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do

Now enter your car registration mark, then hit search. Hopefully it will now work???

No worries lol! Just over the water to be fair! But yeah, managed to get it working as I mentioned in an edit, above - I figure "less" means not equipped and "with" means equipped? 

 

Correct Tom. Incidentally etis will now remember your reg  for future lol.

That's odd then as my car has sat nav but shows as negative on ETIS and hasn't been retro fitted according to Ford

was it part of a pack per chance ?

Ah I see, makes sense then! Down the list it shows nav data equipped but the sat nav would be part of a package - good shout!

picking it up this Friday, can't wait! :D

Yeah sometimes things come as a package like street pack comfort pack etc
