Transit connect number plate lightbulbs

Featured Replies

Hi All

Looking for some advise please. I am looking for a bulb which will fit the factory rear number plate bulb holder. My 2016 connect has 2 black rear holders. I have recently installed a reverse camera and it works great, the problem is the reverse camera comes as a replacement unit which has the camera and light incorporated into a replacement rear light. (hope that makes sense!). The rear cam has a tiny LED light which is now a different colour to the factory fit 5w standard bulb  (slight yellow colour)

I recently bought a replacement LED bulb from halfords which works great and is an identical colour (6000k) to the reverse camera unit but it has a slight problem. When its dark and i lock the van the bulb remains on (very dim) for a few minutes then goes off. Im wondering if i should change back to a filament type bulb colour 6000k (if available) or what should i do??

Cheers all..
