Over-revving

Featured Replies

Hi,

I own a mk6 1997 Escort Ghia Auto. She has started to idle at 1250 revs instead of the normal 800. I have replaced the mass air  sensor and the idle valve with brand new parts but it still has not solved the problem. I  have a feeling it might be drawing more air in somewhere but not certain of this. Does anyone have anymore ideas that I might try. Thank you in advance.

Rob.
