Focus 1.6 deisel vs 2l deisel

Featured Replies

Im wondering what the realistic fuel consumption for a 2l deisel ford focus zetec is, I know what book says but I get 10mpg less than book says for my 1.6l deisel (2013) on runs of 35 miles, book says 67 and I get 57 mpg. also is the zetec s just a slightly different body kit than the zetec or is handling and suspension better?

With those engines in the Mk2 facelift Focus you're looking at 45mpg in the 2.0 and 55mpg in the 1.6.  I don't think that's changed much, if at all, for the Mk3.

Zetec S (now ST-Line if you're buying new) does come with slightly lower and stiffer suspension than Zetec, which improves handling and looks at the cost of some ride comfort.  It also comes with a sporty bodykit and larger alloys.
