Hi all new here.

Wife has a 2006 12.5 Fiesta, 86000.

Whilst stood idle ( say lights ) the engine dips 2/3 times slightly then recovers again.

In the mornings she may turn and start first time, other times it will crank over then nothing, stop, turn the key again and she spins and fires.

Today she popped down the shop ( engine cold ) same thing cranked first time, then went.

After coming back from a very short trip went straight back out and it took 4 attempts to start her. Drove to work.

I went to have a look at the car, 2 things air intake pipe on the elbow is not connected properly and also sounds like its really pulling air up under the intake manifold...on hard revving

Engine started, but still with this..what I called this dip uneven momentarily problem

Any ideas would be a great help
