changing the key fob battery

Featured Replies

I've been searching all morning for some instructions on how to get to the battery without damaging the fob. All the advice, videos etc are for a different design. I've managed to open the back by squeezing the release buttons on each side, that revealed the metal key part. Now I need to get under that bit somehow, but the plastic inside seems quite soft & easily damaged if I were to lever at the wrong part. Can anyone who has one of these help me please?

easy hold fob firmly in one hand and twist gently the key ring part, this wil prise open the fob enough to get finger nail or small screwdriver in to open up fully

Thankyou very much:smile: that did the trick.

that was totally different than the way I was trying to do it, you've saved me from making a possibly very expensive, clumsy mistake!

easy when you know how.
