No need to apologise. Did you find what you where looking for ?.

Some tests have been done on shows like Fifth gear etc to look at this exact question. They found that using supremen fuels did give the car a few extra BHP when tested, but nothing major. There test seemed to imply that shell V power unleaded was the best fuel on the market, with BP ultimate being quite disappointing. Most ST owners will be using a supreme fuel over a standard one, even if the car is in standard form. The supreme fuels are not only supposed to increase performance, but also help clean and maintain the health of the car, which is another big reason why people utilise them. Some people even use normal fuels for a few fill ups and then use 1 tank of supreme fuel every now and again to maintain the car well. (I used to do the same with my Fiesta, now ive upgraded to a Focus ST so I use shell V power all the time). Important to note, if looking to improve performance in the way of remaps etc they may require premium fuel.

Hope that made a little bit of sense, I by no means no much about the topic!
