MPG 1.0 100 ecoboost 2013

How do I get decent miles per gallon  running  around  town it's shows 28 30 mpg no were near 48 .

During the winter months cars do poorer miles per gallon.  For example in the summer i can get over 620 miles out of a full thank.  Now its nearer to 540.  It will be the same with petrol cars also.  Cold weather plays havoc with fuel economy.  The fathers petrol mk7.5 petrol Fiesta is currently seeing a drop in his fuel economy also.  I wouldn't worry about it to much.

Depends on the type of driving you do too. I usually just drive locally, but on longer trips the mpg always goes up a few % points.
