Hello guys, it might sound silly, but there is an "open padlock button" on the driver's door, do you know what it is for?

I've tried to press it, press and hold it, but nothing happened.

    It's part of the deadlocking system for the doors.

    It stops the doors being opened from outside.

    Should have a closed padlock button underneath?

    No, there is only open padlock button, I will make a picture of it and post it here later today.

    I've locked the doors from inside and tried to unlock using this button, but no luck. Will check the manual now,

    Update for that issue.

    Ford garage said a module is faulty and booked a service.

    Will update with the results again, once I found what is the button for.

    Finally I worked out what this button does and when.

    Actually it does work only when the car is started, if I global lock the doors I can unlock with one touch this button.

    It is silly that it can't open a door locked by another passenger, only unlock if the doors are global locked from the driver!

    Looks a bit useless for me, probably will never use it.
