2014 Fiesta Zetec S TDCI alloys

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm new this this site and would like some advice with regards to going from 16 - 17 inch alloys. I don't think mine looks sporty enough with the 16's, but heard that the ride is not so good and you go through more sets of tyres.

Any advice would be great

Thanks

Sam 😁

Hi Sam,

I've got an ST (which has harsher, lower suspension) on 17 inch alloys and whilst the ride is firm it's far from uncomfortable. As for tyre wear I'm not aware that there's any significant difference when increasing wheel diameter although tyres do tend to get more expensive.

If you're looking for aftermarket wheels then for a 7" wide wheel you'll need to be looking for Width 7J, PCD 4 x 108, recommended offset ET38-42 (stock wheels are 47.5). Stock wheels have hub diameter of 63.4mm so you'll need spigot rings to match this.

I have an immaculate set of ST alloys in the for sale section if they'd be of interest.
