LED Lights To Replace The Bulbs On A 07' MK6 Ford Fiesta ZS

Featured Replies

Hi guys and girls,

I'm not sure if this has already been asked as I've gone through pages and pages and it's just taken far too much time but from where I looked I couldn't see a discussion about it..

I am just trying to find out if anyone knows a website other than eBay to buy LED lights to replace my bulbs for my 07' MK6 Ford Fiesta ZS?

I have found Power Bulbs and Auto Bulbs Direct which seem pretty decent and sell a lot of the same bulbs LED that seem ok priced, I'm not looking to be a cheap skate and get LED's for £1 and assume they'll work and be find forever and they only last a few weeks or months and it's a waste of time lol

It appears that you don't have to get different coded bulbs for all bulb inserts, you can get say a W5W LED for the side indicator and this also can be used for the front sidelights and rear reverse light. Is this correct? I haven't taken all the areas I have bulbs apart myself to actually see if they are all the same as I haven't had time..

I have Philips headlights and sidelights and if I cannot replace a bulb with an LED on the car then I'd like to then go with a Philips option to keep them the same as possible but for everything I can change I would like to replace with LED's so the following:

Front fog lights, front indicators, side indicators, rear brake lights, rear fog lights, rear reverse lights, interior light between sun visors, rear number plate lights and I think that's them all lol

I am also looking at getting interior footwell lights, potentially a stripe that goes across as low and hidden as possible or perhaps something more like an LED bulb I can somehow secure to the dash as low as possible as both sides have open areas but I'm unsure how I would go about fitting them, wiring and if I can or have to take the centre of the dash out to plug these into the main centre loom so that they come on when I unlock the car or open a door and look stock like the newer Fords etc and where would be a reputable place to get them, again, if I can find a place off of eBay, I would feel more comfortable but I'm nkt writing eBay totally off but I have heard a lot of people buy stuff from eBay and it not last, not work, not great quality etc hence the cheap ***** price and I've experienced some of this myself from buying on there.. A lot of people who don't work, stay at home and just make stuff cheap from electronic parts shipped from China or already assembled from China and it's just not worth it personally for me or safe! Not all sellers are like that but as a lot of you will know, finding what you actually want from a decent place is rare but once you find it you're golden!

Thank you in advance and know that the advice received will help a lot not just with me but over a handful of friends looking to do the same! 👌🏽
